A great adventure activity is trekking. However, there are a couple of things you need to know:
1. Get Gear.
It is absolutely essential that you have the right gear, such as rain coat (note: there is a difference between rain repellent and rain resistent), good boots, hiking poles, and a first aid kit (including blister relief).
2. Pace yourself.
As they say, “It is a marathon, not a sprint.” So go slowly. Be sure to get physically conditioned beforehand and be mentally ready. How? Make sure you know what to expect.
