- Mardi Gras on the River is a great way to experience one of the best festivals in America. Your pre-cruise hotel stay is close to the parade route. On board, you will enjoy Mardi Gras style activities and Cajun cuisine. In addition to hearing some great jazz, you will also explore Civil War sites, majestic mansions, and picturesque plantations.
