Why I Like It: This price includes roundtrip air from U.S. (New York or Houston or L.A.) to Beijing and from Shanghai to the U.S. and includes internal flight from Beijing to Shanghai and airport transfers plus eight nights in 4-star hotels and breakfast daily. You can travel over Thanksgiving at no additional cost so you don’t even have to use any (or hardly any) vacation days to take this trip!
FYI: Highlights include chance to see famous Mao’s Tomb, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Yu Yuan Gardens, Oriental Pearl Tower and more. Optional activities include a Yangtze River Cruise where you will see the Terracotta Warriors (a must!) and this is a shopper’s paradise. This price is close to $1,000 less than what I’ve seen elsewhere and that is with air from L.A.—not East Coast! For anyone who’s got the Far East on his/her bucket list, this is a great introduction. Shanghai is the largest and wealthiest city in China while Beijing is the center of it since it is the capital city.
