Why I Like It: Independent travel with tour price tag. Can depart from other cities beside NY (JFK). Many of these specials do not allow other gateway city departures even for additional fee. Permits schedule adjustment for no additional cost if travelers want to stay longer, subject to availability. Besides roundtrip international airfare, this package includes six nights in first class hotel (full breakfast included daily), and seven-day rental car including all taxes and insurance.
FYI: You will stay in San Gimignano, which is a small walled medieval hill town in the heart of Tuscany, also known as the ‘Town of Fine Towers’. It is famous for its unique architecture and unforgettable skyline. Driving your own rental car you will be able to explore Tuscany at your own pace. You may choose to explore the preserved tower houses of San Gimignano or visit the many nearby quaint towns bathed for centuries in the nourishing Tuscan sun. Enjoy wine in the Chianti region, art and history in nearby Florence, or a relaxing spa treatment in Montecatini Terme. You will find the options are endless when driving in and around Tuscany. Other cities you may want to visit include Milan, Genoa, Pisa, Florence, Siena, and Cinque Terra.
