It is never more important to know the time than when you’re traveling. You have to make tight connections and arrange tours and transport. It can be hard trying to set and reset your watch for different time zones. I’ve tried buying a dual watch but that confused me even more and just meant that I now had two watches to set and reset.
But then Johnny Jet turned me on to Time.is It’s synchronized with an atomic clock—the world’s most accurate source of kept time—so your displayed time will “normally have a precision of 0.02-0.10 seconds.” And Time.is “displays the time for your detected (or chosen) location, not the time according to your computer’s clock.”
On the site, you’ll also find a calendar, sunrise and sunset times, information about today’s holidays and observances, latitudes and longitudes, population numbers, and key information about every country in the world. Pretty cool, eh?
