Steve Wells says
Terrance, like to comment on trip to Las Vegas Nevada in 5-’14 and stayed at Mirage Hotel. While certainly a gamblers paradise,4 people not into games of chance its a disappointment. The one armed bandits or slot machines are gone replaced by computer games that paid out in credits not money. Asked several people how to play these “games” but nobody knew. They just kept putting money into machines. Had heard food cheap and shows reasonable. Food prices very expensive as breakfast and lunch averaged $25-30 each even at bouffets. Evening meals considerably more. No coffee makers, refrigs or microwaves in rooms. Best idea was side trip to Hoover Dam which was great and worth the money. Shows were $160 a piece 4 unkown entertainers. As previously mentioned to u, on return trip my companion fell in jet tunnel which goes from plane to exit gate in terminal at Raleigh-Durham,NC airport. Tripped over expansion braces that were raised on floor. Broke wrist that required permanent metal brace, bruised head and mouth. No medical facilities at gate nor offered. After urging medical personnel be called, took 30 minutes to response.
