Why I Like It: Egypt is rich in history and culture. It is an exciting destination that is a must for any history or archaeological buff–a great soft adventure! And the price is right with this $500pp or $1,000 per couple discount. Included  in this package is international round-trip air from New York to Cairo, all air taxes, fees, and surcharges, 17 meals, transportation aboard an air-conditioned bus, an English-speaking guide, and all tours and sightseeing admissions. Deluxe hotels are provided for 3n Cairo and 2n Luxur. Plus, a 3n Nile River Cruise is included complete with a belly dancing show and special dinner. Highlights of this tour: Great Pyramids of Giza (one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World), Sphinx of Giza, Philae’s Temple of Isis, Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Luxor Temple, Luxor Museum, Valley of the Kings (site of 62 entombed pharaohs), Egyptian Museum of Antiquities (world’s largest collection of Egyptian artifacts), and more! Fun Facts about Egypt…                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

It is home to more than 100 pyramids.

It is home to the longest river in the world, the Nile River (more than 4,000 miles!), which flows into the Mediterranean Sea.

Egypt is mostly comprised of the Sahara and Libyan deserts.

The capital is Cairo, which is also the most populated city in this country.

The best time to go is October – May, which is in the 60s and 70s farenheit. This is known as the “cool season.” The “hot season” is May – October with temperatures in the 90s farenheit.
