Okay, it’s official. The cruise industry has gone crazy. In 2016, both Royal Caribbean and Carnival will introduce the biggest ships ever. Now if you’re not aware, to date the biggest ships are Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas. Oasis of the Seas is the length of four football fields and has sixteen decks! Allure of the Seas boasts twenty-two restaurants and features a replica of New York’s Central Park! I can only imagine how they’re planning to top this with next year’s mega ship. Not to be outdone, Carnival has announced that its new ships will hold a whopping 6,600 passengers each. Can you imagine? But don’t worry Royal Caribbean, you still hold the record for size since the Oasis of the Seas weighs in at 225,282 tons.
