Where in the world: 7-night German Christmas Market (Frankfurt, Baden Baden, Fussen & Munich)
Book by: Until Sold Out
Departure Dates: The markets are open from the last week in November to Christmas Day.
Cost: $1,239pp
Why I Like It: This is on my bucket list! And this is the best price I’ve seen for this spectacular seasonal event. This deal includes round trip air from New York or Washington, DC. Plus, it also includes seven nights in hotels, car rental, breakfast daily, and airport and hotel taxes. Christmas Markets are a European tradition and some say that the German Christmas Markets are among the best. The market in Frankfurt dates back more than 600 years! But Baden Baden is pretty spectacular too. Its Christlikeendesmarkt is set against the scenic backdrop of the Jurhaus. Arguably, Fussen’s Bavarian landscapes make it the most picturesque. However, Munich is famous for its glittering 100-foot Christmas tree. Every market is full of Christmas collectibles and many are excellent examples of German craftsmanship. There is also delicious food and special seasonal treats. The atmosphere will be festive and friendly, filled with twinkling lights and delights. Be sure to bring an empty suitcase so that you can carry all your goodies home! Optional activities are plentiful, such as castle tours, horse-drawn carriage rides, and city tours. Could be your best Christmas ever!
