Where in the world: 4-day Famous Locations Tour
Book by: Until Sold Out
Departure Dates: May 12-15 (sold out) and July 27-30, 2015
Cost: $1,750pp
Why I Like It: London is my favorite city and Downton Abbey is one of my favorite shows. Plus, this is such a über way to visit the U.K ! The price is a bit steep considering it excludes airfare but it does include hanging out with royalty! If you use frequent flier miles or score a low fare, the trip is still affordable. You will do all kinds of once-in-a-lifetime activities, such as an exclusive visit to Highclere Castle (where Downton Abbey is filmed) where you’ll be personally greeting by Lady Carnarvon, traditional afternoon English tea, sip champagne as you ride the London Eye which offers the best view of London, a chance to meet some of the Downton Abbey cast and crew, a visit to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Basildon Park, pub lunch, and more!
FYI: Tours International will take care of any and all additional activities you may wish to do while in the U.K., such as additional nights in the four-star hotel where you’ll be booked during this tour, theater tickets, day trips, transportation, etc.
