I was planning to take a holiday hiatus but when I learned this big Disney news I had to let you know since some of you will be going to Disney during the holidays or in early 2023.
Disney celebrated 50 years of “Being the Happiest Place on Earth” in 2022. But things are changing at Disney and here’s what you need to know:
Prices are going UP and tickets will be park specific (not interchangeable) because of these new prices.
- Magic Kingdom will be $124-$189.
- Epcot will be $114-$179.
- Hollywood Studios will be $124-$179.
- Animal Kingdom will stay the same at $109-$159.
- Disneyland will be $104-$199, plus $65 to visit Disney California Adventure Park on the same day.
- Genie+ (line skipping service for certain attractions) will be $29pp (was $22pp). Lightening Lane service will also increase in cost.
Annual Pass prices will also increase:
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass=$399
- Disney Pirate Pass=$749
- Disney Sorcerer Pass=$969
- Disney Incredi-Pass=$1,399
Note: Discounts will be offered for current pass holder renewals.
Say goodbye to:

Say hello to:

- Character cavalcades featuring Mickey and friends (and introducing Mirabel from Encanto) will take place at scheduled intervals throughout each day. These cavalcades are best seen at the hub around Cinderella Castle.
- There are new fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom and Epcot, but you can view these spectaculars without a park ticket.
I’m going to be following up this post with another one soon because there is so much Disney news to share. Also, I will be revealing ways to save BIG $$$ on Disney vacations.
