Terrance Zepke studied Journalism at the University of Tennessee and later received a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. She has studied Parapsychology at the renowned Rhine Research Center.
She began her career as a freelance writer and photographer, specializing in adventure travel.
Her photos and features have appeared in numerous newspapers and magazines. She has traveled to every continent and enjoyed many memorable experiences, such as hiking Machu Picchu, camping in the Himalayas, hot-air ballooning over the Northern Serengetti, dog-sledding in the Arctic, a rail trip across the African desert, exploring Antarctica aboard a Russian research vessel, and an elephant safari in Nepal. She has also had a few harrowing experiences, such as learning how to drive a stick shift (on the Autobahn!), suffering terrible chigger bites during an Amazon adventure, surviving the Drake Passage, and getting stranded in Morocco.
She has been featured on The Travel Channel, CNN, Good Morning Show, NPR, Around the World, Consumer Traveler, ABC News, World Travel and Dining with Pierre Wolfe, The Learning Channel, and Travel with Rick Steves. Her experience and expertise led her to become a travel agent specializing in adventure travel.
